This is a used Ruger GP100, .357 Magnum revolver. This does have some marks and scratches, but overall, in great working condition. This is a great revolver. It does come with the original grips, but no box. The GP100 is considered one of the toughest .357 Magnum revolvers available. It features a triple-locking cylinder that locks into the frame at the front, rear, and bottom, ensuring precise alignment and reliable operation. The grip frame is designed to accommodate various custom grips, enhancing comfort and control. Maintenance is straightforward with integrated subassemblies that require no special tools. The revolver employs a transfer bar mechanism, allowing safe carry with all chambers loaded by preventing the hammer from striking the firing pin unless the trigger is fully pressed. Though it lacks a manual safety, the transfer bar system offers significant security against accidental discharge. The GP100's heavy build reduces recoil, making it capable of handling powerful ammunition, suitable even for taking down a bear.
